The most common symptoms of coronavirus include fever and a cough but that can progress to severe pneumonia which can cause shortness of breath as well as breathing difficulties. In very severe cases, it can also lead to severe acute respiratory syndrome, kidney failure and even sometimes, death.

The best way to prevent infection is by taking simple precautions that can be used for many infectious diseases. Doing things like washing your hands with soap and water many times throughout the day.
