Diabetes Reversal – 6 Precautions if following the 2-Meal Plan/Dr. Dixit Diet – FFD

6 Precautions to following the 2 Meal Plan/Dr. Dixit Diet – Diabetes Reversal:
1. RISE IN PP SUGARS, FOLLOWED BY HYPOGLYCEMIA (Drop in blood sugar below 70) IN DIABETICS ON INSULIN or STRONG MEDICINES (especially sulphonylureas – glimepiride, gliclazide e.g. GP1, Glimy, Reclide, Glizid)
2. TENDENCY TO OVEREAT WHICH INCREASES THE SUGAR (GLYCEMIC) LOAD:
SCIENTIFIC NOTE ON INSULIN SECRETION
Scientific fact is that insulin is secreted in proportion to the amount of glucose in the blood. According to WILLIAMS TEXTBOOK OF ENDOCRINOLOGY (Page 1394), 1.4 units of insulin is secreted for every 12 grams of oral glucose. This is approximately equal to 1 phulka which is 15 grams in weight and contains 80% carbohydrates i.e. 12 grams. So, if you eat two phulkas, approximately 2.8 units of insulin is secreted. For 3 phulkas 4.2 units and so on. Reducing the number of meals will help reduce insulin secretion is true. But overeating and overeating anything you like, in those meals, can increase your glycemic (sugar) load, insulin secretion and slow down your progress. Also, note that there is also a baseline secretion of insulin of approximately 0.7-1.3 unit per hour irrespective of food intake in healthy individuals. This helps the body manage its delicate balance of anabolic (bodybuilding) and catabolic (read as breaking) processes.
Further its essential to pay attention to food groups and the ratio proportion during a two meal intake. Otherwise, we cannot produce efficient, sustainable or even predictable results. It is essential to identify what foods we are eating and ensure we don’t eat unbalanced meals in terms of carbohydrates, proteins and fats.

The overall number of diabetics who are free of medications conveys this point loud and clear. Dr Dixit claims 100+ diabetics free of medicines and 300-400 on reduced medications. FFD Protocol has over 5000+ free of medicines and 1000+ free of insulin. FFD’s recent research report published in the International Journal of Diabetes & Endocrinology states 54% free of all medications with hba1c below 7 within 12 weeks. Since walking is the most popularized form of exercise, most miss out on strengthening the muscles through anti-gravity exercises like Stair Climbing, Dr Mercola Nitric Oxide Dump, Resistance Band and Weight training.
