Foot care is an essential part of self-care in the TCM. There are over 72,000 nerve endings in the feet, and each one corresponds to a different area of the body. No wonder the foot is called the second heart. Just like the hands and ears, foot care can bring you numerous health benefits. Footbath has been very popular in Asia for thousands of years. It promotes blood circulation and increases the energy flow in the body, most importantly, it releases toxic energy from the body. In this video, I introduced a few specific healing recipes for the footbath, such as pain relief, detox, improving sleep quality, easing seasonal allergies.
