Nation Update: Cancer in Barbados

Ahead of World Cancer Day last Friday, we sat down with acting president of the Barbados Cancer Society, Professor R. David Rosin.
He gave an update on the illness in Barbados, a prostate cancer trial which is yielding very promising preliminary results, treatment and the challenges they face during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Rosin is a former president of the British Association of Surgical Oncologists and founder president of the Caribbean Society of Endoscopic Surgeons. He is an honorary professor in the Medical Faculty of the University of the West Indies in Barbados and has been working here since 2008.
