Sexual Dysfunction with Dr. Dean Elterman

This webinar reviews the sexual side effects that may occur after prostate cancer treatment. The risk factors of post-prostatectomy erectile dysfunction, recovery time and the benefits and limitations of available treatments will be described including the use of PDE5 inhibitors, vacuums, injections and other devices.

Speaker: Dr. Dean Elterman is a Urologist and Medical Director at the Prostate Cancer Rehabilitation Clinic at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre. He has worked in the areas of men’s health and survivorship at the Iris Cantor Men’s Health Center at New York Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical College and at the University of Toronto. Some of his current research interests include male health, voiding dysfunction and reconstruction including BPH, incontinence and sexual dysfunction (penile prosthetic surgery).
